For beginners, incalmo is a special glass technique. As Corning Museum of Glass describes:

(Italian) The technique of constructing an object, usually a vessel, by fusing two or more blown glass elements. The process, first practiced in the Islamic world in the Middle Ages, demands great precision because the edges of the adjoining elements must have precisely the same diameter.

We use this technique in our Idyllic Summer Collection and in some of our larger sand to Glass pieces.

A collection of our distinctive handblown glass vessels crafted using the incalmo technique. The line of connection is noticeable where the color or texture shifts midway on the vessels.
